  1. Enjoyed the presentation Todd – its great to see small businesses are beginning to embrace blogging as a way to communicate with their clients.

  2. I attended the presentation on running a family business by Mick Burgess from Urban Contractors and Vicki from Easy Care landscapes. Both Mick and Vicki presented some great insights into running a family business and shared some of their own tips for creating a work life balance that means you don’t put your family second. I have since checked out the site for Family Business Australia and they have some great resources there as well.

  3. Robert Shelton from Everalls DFK made taxation interesting. Now that could be an oxymoron “interesting taxation”.

If the amount of notes people were scribbling was anything to go by, his points were relevant to all attendees. Thanks Rob.

Ailsa Page was the keynote speaker at breakfast and was full of enthusiasm and verve. Great information and good energy for an early session.

  4. As a small home business owner now starting out in a commercial premises, i found the business expo a great tool. The passion that the speakers have, especially Todd Wright, Catherine Nolan and Ailsa Paige, were nothing but inspring. What live wires of inspiration and knowledge, thank you all very much. I have spent the last week trying to work out how i want to set my blogg up as i totally am computer illiterate apart from email. Will spread it around as soon as its done.

  5. As a small business I found the expo to be a great tool. Ailsa Page is a a goldmine of knowledge and her breakfast presentation was excellent. Well done Ailsa

As someone who uses blogging in my business I enjoyed Todd’s presentation, its good to see that more and more businesses are starting to utilise blogging as a marketing tool.

  6. I enjoyed the Expo and being part of the Todd Wright blogging experiment! Our booth attracted a lot of attention and this face to face marketing works best for us. Good to see some conversations happening about innovation – I enjoy helping people learn about how to be creative and innovative in their business.
